Fixing American Democracy

Is American Democracy up to the standard it should be? Is it a shining model to be emulated by the rest of the world. As the American Empire exports "freedom and democracy" to the middle east as the cure for terrorism, we'll examine the institutions and realities of how democracy functions here in the homeland.

We'll take a look at some critical issues that effect voter choices come election day. We'll be looking at ballot access, voter suppression, media exposure and campaign finance to get this discussion going. We'll also look at some ways the Internet can be used as a political and communication tool.
